Friends of Art
The Friends of Art is a national organization which supports the acquisition and preservation of works of art for the Davis Museum and Cultural Center's art collection. The Friends also helps fund publications of the Museum and subsidizes public education programs that include guided tours for the visually impaired and groups of school students and senior citizens. Museum internships are also underwritten by the Friends.
Locally, the Miami Friends of Art offers its members 2-3 art-related events a year. These include curator-led walkthroughs of important exhibits and visits to private collections or other art installations.
