The Miami Wellesley Club serves as a link among alums in the Miami area and between alums and the college. The Miami Wellesley Club also provides a key presence in the area for prospective students, necessary to ensure that local high school students learn about Wellesley and become excited about attending the college. In addition, the Miami Wellesley Club gives you, as an alum, a voice in the governing of the Alumnae Association through our participation in Alumnae Leadership Council.

The Miami Wellesley Club has two membership levels:
Active Members: ALUMNA - An alumna is any graduate of Wellesley College or any former student who: (a) has been a candidate for a Wellesley College degree for at least one term and whose class has been graduated, or (b) left in honorable circumstances before completing one term and who has requested membership in the Association after her class has graduated. Any alumna may become an active member on payment of annual dues. Only active members may vote and serve on the Board of Directors.
Associate Members: Non-ALUMNA - Any past or present member of the faculty or administration of Wellesley College may become an associate member of the club upon payment of annual dues. Any non-Wellesley parent of a Wellesley daughter, past or present, may become an associate member of the club upon payment of annual dues.
To join the Miami Wellesley Club you only need to pay annual dues as specified in the application that follows. Our fiscal year is July 1 to June 30. Dues are needed to offset the cost of mailings which are sent to all 170+ alumna in the area, to support the general administration of the club, publish a directory of local members, and to support the Book Award program we conduct in the Miami-Dade and Monroe County area schools.
